Community Connection Session
The focused part of the meeting: a guided round-the-room session where every guest states one introduction they need and one thing they can offer.
Open Networking & Referrals
Move around the room, follow up on the introductions called out in the session, and exchange contact details.
Closing & Next Steps
Community announcements, upcoming events, and how to keep your business visible in the directory until we meet again.
The program runs continuously from the start time shown above. Arrive early for check-in so you are seated before the round of introductions begins.

Business Specials
Bringing a special offer is a requirement of this event — not an optional extra. Every attending business is asked to arrive with one attractive, ready-to-share special for the room, and the Business Showcase is where you present it. Specials are for the people in the room, and they stay listed with your business in the community directory after the meeting.

Your special is what gives the room a real reason to act on your introduction. Make it genuinely attractive — a clear saving, a strong bundle, or a compelling first-time offer — and have it written down and ready before you arrive.
- One special per business — a discount, a bundle, a free consultation, or a first-time-customer offer.
- Make it easy to act on: what the offer is, who it is for, and when it expires.
- Bring it written down, or on a flyer or card you can hand out.
- Share it during the Business Showcase so the whole room hears it, then hand your written offer to the check-in desk.
- Specials shared at the event are listed with your business in the community directory so the room can find you again.
Guests attending without a business are welcome as they are. Businesses presenting to the room are expected to bring their special offer with them.
Featured session
The Community Connection Session
The Community Connection Session is the heart of the event. It is a guided, round-the-room session where every guest gets a short, equal turn to say who they are, what their business does, exactly who they want to be introduced to, and what they can offer in return. It keeps the room useful for everyone, whether you are established or just starting out.
How the session runs
- Everyone gets a short turn — about one minute each — in the order you are seated or listed at check-in.
- Each turn follows the same three-part shape: who you are, the one introduction you want, and the one thing you can offer.
- The host notes the introductions being asked for and, where possible, pairs you with the right person in the room.
- Business specials are shared here too, so the whole room hears them at once.
- Every attendee is encouraged to scan the community QR code during this session and open the $14.99/month membership form on the spot.
How to prepare for your turn
- Your one-sentence introduction: your name, your business, and who you serve.
- Your one specific ask: the exact type of person, business or industry you want an introduction to.
- Your one offer: a referral, a resource, a skill, or a special you can give the room.
- Your business card or contact card, ready to hand over.
After the session the floor opens up. Use that time to follow up on the introductions that were called out, exchange details, and agree the next step while you are still in the same room.

Event Guidelines
- Arrive on time. Check-in opens at the start time shown above so the program can begin as scheduled.
- Keep presentations short. Each business gets a brief slot in the showcase — respect the time so everyone is heard.
- One voice per business. Nominate one representative to speak during the showcase; everyone is welcome to network.
- Introduce before you pitch. Build the relationship first — people refer businesses they know, like and trust.
- No pressure selling. No hard selling, cold pitching, or pressing guests for their contact details.
- Ask before you record. Photograph, film or tag others only with their permission.
- Respect contact details. Use the details you collect for genuine follow-up only, and never add anyone to a mailing list without their consent.
- Keep it professional and welcoming. Treat every guest, business and venue staff member with courtesy.
- Be ready to give. For every referral you ask for, be ready to send one back.

Joining the Community
The Eroyal Business Connection community is separate from this event. Membership is one plan at $14.99 per month, paid by card, and it activates as soon as the payment is confirmed.
